Research summary
Dr. Guzman leads a research program focused on the development of therapeutic strategies for targeting leukemic stem cells. In close collaboration with physicians and industry, her research has resulted in the translation of laboratory findings into two phase 1 clinical trials. She collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, medicinal chemists, and genome scientists to develop the next generation of anti-leukemia stem cell therapies.
